Ramona Panula is a professional b-girl (breaker), dance instructor and producer. She is the founder of Call out Finland (2015), where she acts as a producer, and a member of the boards of SADE org and the Finnish B-boy Association.
Ramona is a member of the dance groups Floorphilia (Finland) and Swedish Family (Sweden) and is a well-known and successful b-girl. During her career Ramona has attended hundreds of street dance events (jams and competitions) around the world and competed and judged at international breaking events.
Ramona has over 13 years of work experience in dance and cultural youth work in Finland and abroad. She has worked as a producer, dancer and dance instructor in different projects and productions.
During the years 2012-2014 Ramona studied at Åsa Folkhögskola’s street dance program, in Sköldinge, Sweden, from where she graduated in 2014. In Sweden, Ramona acted as the producer of the street dance event SDK Sweden. After moving back to Finland, Ramona worked as the coordinator of 09 Helsinki Human Right’s dance activities for 3 years. In 2017 Ramona worked as a dancer in the production En Cypher at the Urban Connection Festival in Stockholm.
Sharing of knowledge and promotion of culture are essential parts of Hip Hop. Ramona’s goal is to build a Finland where everyone has equal possibilities to dance street dance and become part of the street dance community and Hip Hop culture. Based on this dream the Call out project was born.
